I know it has been forever since I've gotten around to posting any work on here. I decided to start this blog up again and get motivated. This year I want to not just post my work but try to explain my pieces better. I do enjoy feedback on my work so please leave any comments.
Watercolor and pencil sketch today.
I wanted to just get a base of watercolor down and as I started, the composition felt like a landscape. After building up a few layers of watercolor and just enjoying the colors, I let it dry. Next, I used pencil to sketch over the watercolor using line to respond to the shapes and colors. This is the result.

Another watercolor.
Using a wet on wet technique and trying to create a rhythm in this piece. I love the looseness of the marks and the way the lines decompose themselves.
